Using Structure SDK app

1. Open App Store, or skip to step 3 if the Structure SDK has been installed.

2. Search for "Structure SDK" in the App Store. Choose "Scanner - Structure SDK" to install. Not the "Room Capture" app.

3. Open "Scanner" app.

4. Change settings.

  1. Switch "Align To Gravity" to OFF.
  2. Switch "Fixed Cube" to ON.
  3. Adjust scan distance so that the target surface is covered with solid yellow color.
  4. Pinch screen to adjust scan size to 0.4m or the size of the target surface.
  5. Finally tap the "Scan" button to start.

5. Scan slowly and smoothly.

  1. Move slightly from side to side.
  2. Make sure the scan result is smooth.
  3. When finished, tap "Done" button.

6. The default view is shaded view.

Tap "Color View" to see color.

7. Tap the Send button at the top-right corner to save.

8. Select "Save To Files".

9. Select "On My iPad".

10. Create new folder if necessary.

11. Select save folder.

12. Open browser.

13. Go to Apis website.

  1. Open Apis website.
  2. Tap "Log In" link at the top-right corner.
  3. Tap the "CUSTOM-MADE" tab.

14. Scroll to the bottom of the page, tap "Choose File".

15. Tap "Browse".

16. Select "On My iPad", then choose the save folder.

17. Long-press on the zip icon of the scan file to rename it if necessary. Then tap on it to upload.

Uploaded files will appear under the attachment section of the order form, see picture in next step.

18. Fill out the order form, and then tap "Place Order" button.

How To Save iMed Scan Locally
For Email or Upload to Website

1. Tap Menu within Mt. Emey app

2. Then choose Settings

3. Scroll to IMED section, and choose Save Locally

4. Close Settings, find your scan, and tap Upload button. It is done in the background, no prompts will be shown.

5. Close Settings, find your scan, and tap Upload button

6. Open the Files app

7. Choose On My iPad, then tap on Mt. Emey 3D Scan folder

8. Select the scan file(s), and tap Share button

9. Choose Mail app as the destination
